ESPID Virtual Session Formats

Explore the Virtual Meeting session formats and get to know the details before you start your ESPID experience!

Live sessions will be opened with a short introduction given by the session chairperson. Then each speaker will take turns giving their lectures and answering any questions from the audience withing the live Q&A  panel. At the end of the session, any additional time may be used for a panel discussion and additional questions from the audience.

ESPID PLENARY SYMPOSIA

All lectures in the session will be pre-recorded and live-streamed on the day of the session.

After a short-pre-recorded introduction by the Session Chairman, Invited Speakers` pre-recorded lectures will be live-streamed followed by a live Q&A panel for discussion.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

All lectures in the session will be pre-recorded and live-streamed on the day of the session.

After a short-pre-recorded introduction by the Session Chairman, pre-recorded lectures will be streamed followed by a live Q&A panel.

As a Session Chairman, you are requested to record a 2 minutes Introduction and to moderate the questions coming from the audience via text chat to the presenters during the live Q&A panels.

ESPID PARALLEL SYMPOSIA

All lectures in the session will be pre-recorded and live-streamed on the day of the session.

After a short-pre-recorded introduction by the Session Chairman, Invited Speakers` pre-recorded lectures will be live-streamed followed by a 10 minutes live Q&A panel.

Pre-recorded selected abstract presentations will be live-streamed, followed by another live Q&A panel for a discussion with both invited speakers and abstract presenters.

After a short session introduction by the Chairman, Live presented and pre-recorded lectures in the session will be live-streamed, followed by a short live discussion, opened for question from the audience.

Session chairmen will moderate the questions coming from the audience and the voting process.

All abstracts allocated for E-Poster Viewing will be available in the ESPID 2020 e-poster gallery of the virtual platform from the beginning of the Meeting with no dedicated e-poster viewing session time. 

ESPID 2020 participants can view e-posters at any time during and up to 3 months after the Meeting.  Presenters may be contacted directly via the virtual platform, for questions and further discussions.
